旧紙幣が交換できるロンドン市内の郵便局

郵便局がいいですか？
銀行でしたら、どこの銀行でも窓口に行けば、そのまま交換してくれます。
当然無料です。私も最近、知人が出張に来て、旧札をもらい、銀行で交換した次第です。
参考になれば

モモさん　銀行の窓口は9：30－16：30が基本営業時間です。参考まで。よい旅を。

旧紙幣の交換、今はBank of Englandでしかできません。

ロンドン市内のBank of Englandはシティエリア(東ロンドン)にあり、
最寄駅は地下鉄だとiBank駅 (Centra線、Northern線など)となります。

紙幣のデザインが日本と比べて変わるので、紙幣のデザインの古さによったらローカルの銀行や郵便局では受け付けなかったりしますが、イングランド銀行なら確実に交換してくれます。
以前にイングランド銀行の本店にて旧紙幣の交換をご一緒したことがあります。
平日の朝9時半から午後2時45分までが受付時間です。
パスポートなどのIDもお忘れなく。

Bank of England によると "Many banks accept withdrawn notes as deposits from customers. The Post Office will also accept withdrawn notes as a deposit into any bank account you can access at the Post Office. And you can always exchange withdrawn notes with us." とあります。
銀行、郵便局ともに大丈夫みたいですね。

旧紙幣の交換は現地に口座を持ってる方にお願いして交換してもらうか、もしくは中央銀行でないと交換はできないと思います。郵便局はやっていません。
