You can explore traditional English necromancy and related occult practices in London through specialized lectures, historical tours, and occult bookshops rather than open public meetings. Key venues to check include Treadwell's Bookshop (Bloomsbury), The Viktor Wynd Museum (Hackney), or by joining groups affiliated with London Fortean Society.
Upcoming and Relevant Opportunities:
Lectures & Historical Studies: Treadwell’s Bookshop frequently hosts experts discussing Early Modern Necromancy, including specific graveyard rites and medieval rituals. They have hosted sessions on nigromantia, including working with spirits and demons.
Occult & Folklore Tours: You can join walking tours focusing on "Witchcraft, Portals, and Secret Societies in Occult London".
Social & Academic Gatherings: Check the London Fortean Society for events on folklore and magic, or the Sophia Club London.
Witchcraft/Occult Communities: Look into the Witches of London group, which holds monthly moots (gatherings) for those interested in various pagan paths.
