コスタリカ、サンノゼ女性一人旅：知っておくべき点・おすすめを教えてください！

I hope your trip to Costa Rica (San Jose) will be a great and safe one. I am not sure which hostel or nomad hotel you will stay in San Jose, but I really hope you will choose a good and safe one. As for transportation, in Costa Rica the major public transportation is via buses, Uber and DiDi (I understand it is like a Chinese Uber-like thing). Of course you can hire a driver, too (I can help you get a driver, if you need one). I suppose this is your first-time trip to Costa Rica... is that right? Although I understand that Costa Rica is relatively safer than most Latin American countries, if you come here alone, please make sure that you act with care and common sense. I live in a very secure hacienda (a development with tight security) and rent a room with its own bathroom and WiFi for a short period time (like AirBnB) in my 2-story new house, which is very close to the airport (like 12km). This is a sort of a high-end residential development with all sorts of amenities such as golf course, tennis courts, pools, soccer fields, polo field, parks, restaurant, etc. But, this is not the most common way of living in this country, but if you want to experience this way of life, I would be happy to rent a room for several days. And, I can give you any touristy spot information, as I have been doing vacation rental business for the last 15 years here in Costa Rica. 主要な観光地であれば、女性の一人旅でも特に問題jはないかと思います。
ただ、観光地であっても夜は気を付けた良いです。とくにビーチ傍観光地の夜は、酔っ払いもいるので十分気を付けたほうがいいです。

コスタリカ人は基本的におおらかで親切ですが、コスタリカは多民族国家で、他国からの移民も多くいます。メキシコやコロンビアに行かれた経験があるのであれば、コスタリカは比較的治安は良いので大丈夫と思います。ただ、油断は禁物ですので、行く場所と時間帯等は意識されて旅行を楽しんでください。
