Are you talking about American Hair Stylists or Japanese Hair Stylists?
Cheap place like Super Cut or Hair Clip are usually ok with walk in but may have to wait depending on the situation.
Other places probably accept walk in but it's better to check before you go.
Japanese Hair Stylists work only by appointments because they are so popular.
Appointments for weekends are so booked up for several months.
